نہ یہ سمجھو کہ اپنے دہن میں زبان نہیں
اس شہر سے دل بھر نہیں پایا کہ ہم جائیں
ابھی جانے کا میرے کوئی بھی امکان نہیں
کہ جس پہ ناز ہو ابھی ایسا نہیں عظمٰی
ابھی کچھ خام ہے پختہ میرا دیوان نہیں
جنوں بہار کی سوگند تھوڑی ہوتا ہے
ہے جس کو درد کا یارا بڑھائے اپنے قدم
کسی پہ عشق کا دربفد تھوڑی ہوتا ہے
نمو ترنگ میں ہے خار خار شاخِ گلاب
جنوں کا عشق پہ پیوند تھوڑی ہوتا ہے
گھلا ہی دے گی یہ دل کی لگی تمہیں اک دن
مٹے بنا یہاں آنند تھوڑی ہوتا ہے
بنانے پڑتے ہیں بت اپنی آرزوؤں کے
کوئی خود اپنا خداوند تھوڑی ہوتا ہے
کئی حقیقتیں بین السطور ہوتی ہیں
فسانہ یونہی قلم بند تھوڑی ہوتا ہے
ہزار بار کھلے دل پہ جبر کا مفہوم
یہ حجتی ہے ، رضا مند تھوڑی ہوتا ہے
بغیر جوش تخیل بغیر ہوش بیاں
