راس آتی جو ہمیں آبلہ پائی دیتے
میں نے مانگی بھی نہیں اور نہ چاہت تھی کبھی
قید رکھتے تو ہی خوش تھا، نہ رہائی دیتے
وصل کی شب کے ستارے بھی ابھی ماند نہ تھے
صبح کاذب کے چلو بعد جدائی دیتے
کیوں انہیں جاتے ہوئے روک نہ پائے اظہر
شور کرتے تو سہی، کچھ تو دہائی دیتے
