چہرے پے غم کی ویرانی میں یہ سجاوٹ کیسی
اب کےبرس خزاں چلی آئی ہےبہار میں
میری امیدوں کاچمن ہرا بھرا ہو جائے
ایک بار تو جو آئےمیرےاجڑےگلزارمیں
میری مجبوری کو بےوفائی کا نام نا دے
کسی بات کےلیے نہیں ہوں سزاوار میں
اگر پھر بھی تیری نظروں میں مجرم ہوں
آ اپنےگیسوؤں سےکرلےگرفتار مجھے
میںتیرا چہرہ آنکھوں میں بسا لوں گا
ایک با ر آ کےتو دےجا اپنا دیدار مجھے
تجھ سےملنےکی مجھے تشنگی رہتی ہے
اس طرح پیاسا رکھ کے تو نا مار مجھے
منظروں میں چھپ گئی کہانیاں ذرا ٹھہر کے دیکھ
ضبط تشنگی میں اب مزاحمت نہیں رہی مگر
تردید اعتراض ہیں خاموشیاں ذرا ٹھہر کے دیکھ
میں کئی وسعتوں سے کتراکے گذرتا آیا ہوں
اب جینے نہیں دیتی مہربانیاں ذرا ٹھہر کے دیکھ
عیاں تو حالتوں میں شدت ہی نہ تھی پھر
کیسے بڑہ گئی سرکشیاں ذرا ٹھہر کے دیکھ
دل کے کئی احاطے ابکہ سبزہ زار نہیں رہے
محبت ہار چکی یہ بازیاں ذرا ٹھہر کے دیکھ
تم لمحہ طبیعت کو کس طرح تولو گے سنتوشؔ
