According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola rose by Rs2,400, bringing the new rate to Rs257,300.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold saw an increase of Rs2,057, reaching Rs220,593. The price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold has reached Rs202,210

The international gold market also experienced gains on Friday, with the price per ounce climbing by $26 to $2,458, as reported by the APGJSA.

Conversely, silver rates in the local market remained stable at Rs2,900 per tola, showing no change.

Earlier this month, gold prices in Pakistan reached an all-time high, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs4,600 to Rs254,000.

This record-setting trend underscores the volatility and significant shifts in the precious metals market, influenced by both domestic and global economic factors.
