Surah Baqara Benefits Or Fazilat

Baqara means cow in the Arabic language. In the eighth and ninth Ruku of Surah Baqara, verses from 67 to 73 narrate the story of a cow of the Children of Israel is narrated. It is the longest surah of the Holy Quran.

Surah Baqara Benefits

There are several Surah Baqara benefits. The last two verses protect a person from unfortunate events or incidents. Hazrat Abu Masood (May Allah Be Pleased With Him) narrated that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said that whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, that will suffice him.

Another Surah Baqara benefit is that it is good to keep Satan away from our home. Hazrat Sehal Bin Saad Bin Saadi narrated that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said that whoever recites Surah Al-Baqarah in his house during the day, then Satan will not come near his house for three days and whoever recites Surah Al-Baqarah in his house at night, Satan will not enter that house for three nights.

Surah Baqara Ki Fazilat

We can understand the Surah Baqara ki Fazilat from several Hadiths of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). According to Sahih Muslim Hadith No 1824, Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) as saying: Do not make your houses as graveyards. Satan runs away from the house in which Surah Baqara is recited.

Ayat Ul Kursi is the longest Ayah of the Surah Baqarah and there are also several benefits of this Ayah. As per the Jami At Tirmidhi Hadith No. 2878, Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah Be Pleased With Him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) said that For everything there is a hump (pinnacle) and the hump (pinnacle) of the Qur'an is Surat Al-Baqarah, in it there is an Ayah which is the master of the Ayat in the Qur'an; [it is] Ayat Al-Kursi.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah Be Pleased With Him) also narrated Jami At Tirmidhi Hadith No 2879 in which the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said that Whoever recites Ha Mim Al-Mu'min - up to - To Him is the return (40:1-3) and Ayat Al-Kursi when he reaches (gets up in) the morning, he will be protected by them until the evening. Whoever recites them when he reaches the evening, he will be protected by them until the morning.
