لگتا ہے جنون عشق کا میں نے جمال نہیں دیکھا

گناہ کروں بھی تو چھپاؤں کہاں سنتوشؔ
اپنے خون جگر میں ایسا خال نہیں دیکھا
حسرتوں کے ملال تو انہیں رچنا سمجھتے ہیں
جو دے گیا کبھی اسے بھی قصوروار ٹھہراؤ
ہر درد کو پھر سے کیوں اپنا سمجھتے ہیں
یوں تو خطائیں خطائی سے ہوتی ہیں مگر
سرکشی کو بھی کہیں اک جرم جتنا سمجھتے ہیں
جن کو پتوں کی سرسراہٹ سے شور لگتا ہے
انہیں گوشوں سے پھر پھولوں کے تمنا رکھتے ہیں
میرے آنکھوں کے خواب ہیں آگے کیلئے
جو گذر گیا پل اُسے سپنا سمجھتے ہیں
اس الہامی میں رہکر بھی جان لیا سنتوش کہ
زندگی کے گذار لوگ زندگی کو کتنا سمجھتے ہیں
چوٹ کھانے پہ دل تو دکھتا ہے
جسے دکھ ملتا ہے وہ کہتا ہے
رنج اٹھانے پہ دل تو دکھتا ہے
ملنے والے اگر بچھڑنے لگیں
دور جانے پہ دل تو دکھتا ہے
یار جب یار کو پرکھتا ہے
آزمانے پہ دل تو دکھتا ہے
آنسوؤں کا سبب نہیں پوچھو
یوں ستانے پہ دل تو دکھتا ہے
ہم نے دنیا سے دل لگایا ہے
دل لگانے پہ دل تو دکھتا ہے
روتے روتے جہان میں آئے
اور جانے پہ دل تو دکھتا ہے
آخر اس جہان خانہ سے
ایسے جانے پہ دل تو دکھتا ہے
دل سے دل کا حسین سا رشتہ
توڑ جانے پہ دل تو دکھتا ہے
حوصلہ گرچہ جوڑ دیتا ہے
ٹوٹ جانے پہ دل تو دکھتا ہے
عظمٰی اب تک جو نامکمل ہے
