Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences usually referred to by its acronym PIEAS is the public research university located at Nilore, Islamabad, Pakistan. The Higher Education Commission ranks PIEAS as the top engineering university in Pakistan. The university is internationally known for its research and development in the field of Science and technology. The university has world class programs to be offered with a strong emphasis on scientific and technological research. The university is closely associated with a world known prominent institution of United States Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The institute has a strong faculty of highly qualified scientists, engineers in the diverse fields of physical sciences, engineering and medicine.
