Isra=Asra referred to as the 17th Surah of Al-Quran and its means walking at midnight. What is most amazing is thing is that most of the times meaning of names doesn't matter rather the personality and thing which it is referred to matters alot. For Example all of we Muslims respect Hazrat Umar (Razi Allahu Anhu) but you will be surprised to note that meaning of Umar is same as in Urdu i.e. Life Span or Hayat. That is to say, Allah exalted the glory of all the companions of the Prophet (may peace and mercy be upon him) that today almost half of the world population (Muslims) imitate their names without giving any regard to the meanings.
