From our humble beginnings in 2008 as a city wide event, ITEC bloomed into a full-fledged national event in 2009 with participation from top universities all over Pakistan, encouraging competition and nurturing innovation.

ITEC invite students to display their expertise in the following:

SPEED PROGRAMMING COMPETITION: The Speed Programming is a stimulating task, engaging exceptional and eminent geeks from across Pakistan. The aim is to amass transcendent programmers and to provide them with a podium to contest and demonstrate their programming and logic skills in the battle of computing. Here you have to demonstrate your competence in skill, knowledge, speed, composure and pressure.

LOGIC QUIZ COMPETITION: Coherence, reasoning and intuition, all are assessed under the close scrutiny of logic. Here you can rate your logic and see for yourself if you have what it takes to call oneself ‘LOGICAL’.

WEB DESIGNING COMPETITION: Web designing competition is to make the participants adept and efficient in making appealing and enthralling websites and to get a grip on encountering and deciphering the hurdles and hindrances in professional lives. It is the opportunity for the students to manifest their web designing skills.

ANIMATION COMPETITION: With the ever-growing movement to computerize the industry, the animation process has become progressively simpler. What was once done with pencils, cells, and paint by a team of dozens of animators can now be accomplished by a single person with a powerful enough home computer and the appropriate software. Our main objective is to design ITEC advertisement that is the participants have to develop such an aesthetic animation that will appeal the judges and is adhering to the requirements as well.

SOFTWARE/HARDWARE EXHIBITION & COMPETITION: Everyone is well acquainted with the influence of software competitions. A principal leap in the evolvement of software and hardware of astute stature, we CSITians at the NED University Engineering and Technology are in the pursuit of ingenuity to ascertain our standing by developing finest software applications and hardware related software applications that are highly competitive in the main-stream industry.

GAMING COMPETITION: For all those gamers who are bewitched with cars dashing, pursuing and flinging on the computer screen, or taking an aim to covet and begrudge the adversaries in virtual world. Gaming is after all a competition between the people who are smitten with glory. For that purpose we have decided to provide the participants with the best gaming environment and for that Gaming Competition will be conducted for heterogeneous games.

NETWORKING COMPETITION: Importance of networks / networking is now a well known fact. It is equally beneficial in business as well as the higher level government organizations. But now what really matters is the robustness of the implemented networks. This is where Network Security plays its role. Network security refers to any activities designed to protect your network. Specifically, these activities protect the usability, reliability, integrity, and safety of your network and data. Effective network security targets a variety of threats and stops them from entering or spreading on your network.

"Four years of undergraduate Study are necessary for producing graduates who can compete with those from any other country. The NED University has always been conscious of this and consequently also awere of the need for arousing interest - and if possible also some amusement for students even in their studies! This is the background for this Exhibition combined with Competition!"
