The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) declared the results of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) Part-II Supplementary Examination 2008 of Science (pre-engineering group) on Tuesday. According to the notification, 6,171 male candidates were registered, 5,856 appeared in examination, of which 2,121 passed. The number of female candidates registered was 1,873, of which 1,751 appeared and 585 passed. The pass percentage of male and female candidates was 36.22 per cent and 33.41 per cent respectively. None of the candidates could pass examination in A-One grade.
