KU start morning Radio transmission
The University of
Karachi (KU) Campus Radio will launch its morning transmission today, a
press release issued here on Monday said.
KU Vice Chancellor Pirzada Qasim will inaugurate the service, which is
being launched on the occasion of the first anniversary of KU Radio. The
morning service would be from 11 am to 12 am every day, while the
afternoon broadcast from 3 pm to 4 pm would continue as per routine. |

Students of Mass
Communication Department, under the supervision of Dr Mehmood Ghaznavi,
have finalised a five-hour radio programme to be transmitted on the
occasion of the first anniversary of the KU Radio. The programme
contains interviews, general knowledge and entertainment programmes.
The KU Radio has also inked an agreement with German Radio to broadcast
its programmes. According to Dr Ghaznavi, 80 per cent of Campus Radio
programmes will be prepared by students of the department, while
remaining 20 per cent would be arranged by foreign radio stations. |
