LAHORE: Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) has announced the result of Intermediate part-I and II (Supplementary) examination 2008 here on Saturday. According to the result notification, 31,806 male and female students appeared in the exam, out of whom, 10,641 were declared successful, showing a 33.46 pass percentage. In the pre-medical group 1038 male and female candidates took the examination; only 494 were declared passed, while in pre-engineering, a total of 1,344 students, girls and boys, appeared in the exam, and 693 were able to clear them.

In General Science, Commerce, Humanities and other groups, a total of 29,424 male and female candidates sat in the examination; 9,454 were declared successful.

Candidates who have been placed under compartment or declared failed in the examination 2008 (Supplementary) can apply for admission to the Intermediate part-I, II (Annual) Examination 2009. According to the schedule, the last date with single fee is January 18, 2009, with double fee February 17, 2009 and with triple fee the last date is March 12, 2009.
