تیرے خط آج میں دریا میں بہانے آئی
پھر تری یاد نئے خواب دکھانے آئی
چاندنی جھیل کے پانی میں نہانے آئی
دن سہیلی کی طرح ساتھ رہا آنگن میں
رات دشمن کی طرح جان جلانے آئی
میں نے بھی دیکھ لیا آج اسے غیر کے ساتھ
اب کہیں جا کے مری عقل ٹھکانے آئی
زندگی تو کسی رہزن کی طرح تھی انجمؔ
موت رہبر کی طرح راہ دکھانے آئی
