ایک پل میں زندگی بھر کی اداسی دے گیا
وہ جدا ہوتے ہوئے کچھ پھول باسی دے گیا
نوچ کر شاخوں کے تن سے خشک پتوں کا لباس
زرد موسم بانجھ رت کو بے لباسی دے گیا
صبح کے تارے مری پہلی دعا تیرے لیے
تو دل بے صبر کو تسکیں ذرا سی دے گیا
لوگ ملبوں میں دبے سائے بھی دفنانے لگے
زلزلہ اہل زمیں کو بد حواسی دے گیا
تند جھونکے کی رگوں میں گھول کر اپنا دھواں
اک دیا اندھی ہوا کو خود شناسی دے گیا
لے گیا محسنؔ وہ مجھ سے ابر بنتا آسماں
اس کے بدلے میں زمیں صدیوں کی پیاسی دے گیا
