اپنی تنہائی مرے نام پہ آباد کرے
کون ہوگا جو مجھے اس کی طرح یاد کرے
دل عجب شہر کہ جس پر بھی کھلا در اس کا
وہ مسافر اسے ہر سمت سے برباد کرے
اپنے قاتل کی ذہانت سے پریشان ہوں میں
روز اک موت نئے طرز کی ایجاد کرے
اتنا حیراں ہو مری بے طلبی کے آگے
وا قفس میں کوئی در خود مرا صیاد کرے
سلب بینائی کے احکام ملے ہیں جو کبھی
روشنی چھونے کی خواہش کوئی شب زاد کرے
سوچ رکھنا بھی جرائم میں ہے شامل اب تو
وہی معصوم ہے ہر بات پہ جو صاد کرے
جب لہو بول پڑے اس کے گواہوں کے خلاف
قاضئ شہر کچھ اس باب میں ارشاد کرے
اس کی مٹھی میں بہت روز رہا میرا وجود
میرے ساحر سے کہو اب مجھے آزاد کرے
