اس کی تقدیر میں حضور نہیں
دل بینا بھی کر خدا سے طلب
آنکھ کا نور دل کا نور نہیں
علم میں بھی سرور ہے لیکن
یہ وہ جنت ہے جس میں حور نہیں
کیا غضب ہے کہ اس زمانے میں
ایک بھی صاحب سرور نہیں
اک جنوں ہے کہ با شعور بھی ہے
اک جنوں ہے کہ با شعور نہیں
ناصبوری ہے زندگی دل کی
آہ وہ دل کہ ناصبور نہیں
بے حضوری ہے تیری موت کا راز
زندہ ہو تو تو بے حضور نہیں
ہر گہر نے صدف کو توڑ دیا
تو ہی آمادۂ ظہور نہیں
ارنی میں بھی کہہ رہا ہوں مگر
