ساحل کی سوغات ! خاروخس و خاک
میرے شرر میں بجلی کے جوہر
لیکن نیستاں تیرا ہے نم ناک
تیرا زمانہ ، تاثیر تیری
ناداں ! نہیں یہ تاثیر افلاک
ایسا جنوں بھی دیکھا ہے میں نے
جس نے سیے ہیں تقدیر کے چاک
کامل وہی ہے رندی کے فن میں
مستی ہے جس کی بے منت تاک
رکھتا ہے اب تک میخانہ شرق
وہ مے کہ جس سے روشن ہو ادراک
اہل نظر ہیں یورپ سے نومید
ان امتوں کے باطن نہیں پاک
