کل مل گیا تو وہ بھی دریدہ لباس تھا
میں ڈھونڈھتا تھا دور خلاؤں میں ایک جسم
چہروں کا اک ہجوم مرے آس پاس تھا
تم خوش تھے پتھروں کو خدا جان کے مگر
مجھ کو یقین ہے وہ تمہارا قیاس تھا
بخشا ہے جس نے روح کو زخموں کا پیرہن
