وہ بھی میری ہی طرح شہر میں تنہا ہوگا
اتنا سچ بول کہ ہونٹوں کا تبسم نہ بجھے
روشنی ختم نہ کر آگے اندھیرا ہوگا
پیاس جس نہر سے ٹکرائی وہ بنجر نکلی
جس کو پیچھے کہیں چھوڑ آئے وہ دریا ہوگا
مرے بارے میں کوئی رائے تو ہوگی اس کی
اس نے مجھ کو بھی کبھی توڑ کے دیکھا ہوگا
ایک محفل میں کئی محفلیں ہوتی ہیں شریک
