کچھ دن سے زندگی مجھے پہچانتی نہیں
یوں دیکھتی ہے جیسے مجھے جانتی نہیں
وہ بے وفا جو راہ میں ٹکرا گیا کہیں
کہہ دوں گی میں بھی صاف کہ پہچانتی نہیں
سمجھایا بارہا کہ بچو پیار ویار سے
لیکن کوئی سہیلی کہا مانتی نہیں
میں نے تجھے معاف کیا جا کہیں بھی جا
میں بزدلوں پہ اپنی کماں تانتی نہیں
انجمؔ پہ ہنس رہا ہے تو ہنستا رہے جہاں
میں بےوقوفیوں کا برا مانتی نہیں
