پوچھتی ہوں اپنے بچوں سے
میرے سوال پر وہ مجھے حیرت سے دیکھتے ہیں
ماں یہ جنت کیا ہوتی ہے
ارے یہ میں نے تم کو نہیں بتایا
چلو سنو
کہتے ہیں جو ماں اپنے بچوں کو اپنے دل کے قریب رکھتی ہے
اسے جنت ملتی ہے
ماں ہم کیا جانے تمہارے دل میں کیا ہے
ہم کیا جانے جنت کیا ہے
ہم تو یہ جانتے ہیں
تم ہمارے دل کے قریب ہمیشہ گھومتی ہو
کبھی ہنستے ہوئے
کبھی ہماری پریشانیوں پر روتے ہوئے
تم نے ہمیشہ ہمارے لیے
ہماری خوشیوں کی جنت بنائی
