ظالم اسے کہیے جو دہائی نہیں دیتا
کہتا ہے کہ آواز یہیں چھوڑ کے جاؤ
میں ورنہ تمہیں اذن رہائی نہیں دیتا
چرکے بھی لگے جاتے ہیں دیوار بدن پر
اور دست ستم گر بھی دکھائی نہیں دیتا
آنکھیں بھی ہیں رستا بھی چراغوں کی ضیا بھی
سب کچھ ہے مگر کچھ بھی سجھائی نہیں دیتا
اب اپنی زمیں چاند کے مانند ہے انورؔ
بولیں تو کسی کو بھی سنائی نہیں دیتا
