محبتوں پہ بہت اعتماد کیا کرنا
بُھلا چکے ہیں اُسے پھر سے یاد کیا کرنا
وہ بے وفا ہی سہی اُس پہ تہمتیں کیسی
ذرا سی بات پہ اتنا فساد کیا کرنا
کچھ اس لیے بھی میں پسپا ہوا ہوں مقتل سے
کہ بہرِ مالِ غنیمت جہاد کیا کرنا
نگاہ میں جو اُترتا ہے دل سے کیوں اُترے
دل و نگاہ میں پیدا تضاد کیا کرنا
میں اس لیے اُسے اب تک چھو نہ سکا "محسن"
وہ آہیٔنہ ہے اُسے سنگ زاد کیا کرنا
