دِلوں میں جگمگاتی ہے
مٹا دیتی ہے رنج و غم
ہمیں جینا سکھاتی ہے
کبھی جب رات بھاری ہو
ذہن پہ کرب طاری ہو
چھائی بدحواسی ہو
اُداسی ہی اُداسی ہو
سکوں اِک پل نہ حاصل ہو
سانس لینا بھی مشکل ہو
کوئی جب بات نہ سمجھے
تیرے جذبات نہ سمجھے
کسی جانب سے راحت کی
کوئی نگاہ نہ آئے ۔۔۔
نفرت کے اندھیروں میں
نظر جب راہ نہ آئے
تو پھر ایسا کرنا تم
محبت کو صدا دینا
جس کو تم سے محبت ہے
اسے دل میں جگہ دینا
محبت مشعل راہ بن کر
سدا راہیں دِکھاتی ہے
محبت روشنی بن کر
