نہ نیند اور نہ خوابوں سے آنکھ بھرنی ہے
کہ اس سے ہم نے تجھے دیکھنے کی کرنی ہے
کسی درخت کی حدت میں دن گزارنا ہے
کسی چراغ کی چھاؤں میں رات کرنی ہے
وہ پھول اور کسی شاخ پر نہیں کھلنا
وہ زلف صرف مرے ہاتھ سے سنورنی ہے
تمام ناخدا ساحل سے دور ہو جائیں
سمندروں سے اکیلے میں بات کرنی ہے
ہمارے گاؤں کا ہر پھول مرنے والا ہے
اب اس گلی سے وہ خوشبو نہیں گزرنی ہے
ترے زیاں پہ میں اپنا زیاں نہ کر بیٹھوں
کہ مجھ مرید کا مرشد اویسؔ قرنی ہے
