صدیوں کے ان خواب گزیدہ شہروں سے
مہر عالم تاب گزرنے والا ہے
جادوگر کی قید میں تھے جب شہزادے
قصے کا وہ باب گزرنے والا ہے
سناٹے کی دہشت بڑھتی جاتی ہے
بستی سے سیلاب گزرنے والا ہے
دریاؤں میں ریت اڑے گی صحرا کی
صحرا سے گرداب گزرنے والا ہے
مولا جانے کب دیکھیں گے آنکھوں سے
جو موسم شاداب گزرنے والا ہے
ہستی امجدؔ دیوانے کا خواب سہی
اب تو یہ بھی خواب گزرنے والا ہے
