محبتوں میں اگر کوئی رسم و راہ نہ ہو
سکوں تباہ نہ ہو زندگی گناہ نہ ہو
تیرا شباب اگر میری درسگاہ نہ ہو
تو دل میں کوئی سوز نہ ہو لب پہ کوئی آہ نہ ہو
میں اس احتیاط سے تیرے ساتھ چلتا ہوں
تیری نگاہ سے آگے میری نگاہ نہ ہو
کچھ اعتدال بھی لازم ہے دل لگی کے لئے
کسی سے پیار اگر ہو تو بے پناہ نہ ہو
میرا وجود ہے سچائیوں کا آئینہ
یہ اور بات میرا کوئی گواہ نہ ہو
