اس بھرے شہر میں رائیگاں ایک میں
وصل کے شہر کی روشنی ایک تو
ہجر کے دشت میں کارواں ایک میں
بجلیوں سے بھری بارشیں زور پر
اپنی بستی میں کچا مکاں ایک میں
حسرتوں سے اٹے آسماں کے تلے
جلتی بجھتی ہوئی کہکشاں ایک میں
مجھ کو فارغ دنوں کی امانت سمجھ
بھولی بسری ہوئی داستاں ایک میں
رونقیں شور میلے جھمیلے ترے
اپنی تنہائی کا رازداں ایک میں
ایک میں اپنی ہی زندگی کا بھرم
اپنی ہی موت پر نوحہ خواں ایک میں
اس طرف سنگ باری ہر اک بام سے
اس طرف آئنوں کی دکاں ایک میں
وہ نہیں ہے تو محسنؔ یہ مت سوچنا
