تیری منزل طلوعٍ سحر سے ہے غافل
تو تاریکیِ رات پہ اکتفا نہ کر
مُلا تو ہے پرور دائے اہل حکم
مُلا کی کسی بات پہ اکتفا نہ کر
اپنی ذات میں اندازِ سحاب کر پیدا
مانگی ہوئی برسات پہ اکتفا نہ کر
فاقہ مستی بہتر ہے لقمہء اسیری سے
یوں غیروں کی خیرات پہ اکتفا نہ کر
کبھی مقصودِ زہد بھی سمجھ اے زاہد
فقط شمارِ رکعات پہ اکتفا نہ کر
کچھ کر تدارک اپنے تنگ ایام کا
ان رواں حالات پہ اکتفا نہ کر
