زخم جھیلے داغ بھی کھائے بہت
دل لگا کر ہم تو پچھتائے بہت
جب نہ تب جاگہ سے تم جایا کیے
ہم تو اپنی اور سے آئے بہت
دیر سے سوئے حرم آیا نہ ٹک
ہم مزاج اپنا ادھر لائے بہت
پھول گل شمس و قمر سارے ہی تھے
پر ہمیں ان میں تمہیں بھائے بہت
گر بکا اس شور سے شب کو ہے تو
روویں گے سونے کو ہم سایے بہت
وہ جو نکلا صبح جیسے آفتاب
رشک سے گل پھول مرجھائے بہت
میرؔ سے پوچھا جو میں عاشق ہو تم
