نیند کی گود میں جہاں چپ ہے
دور وادی میں دودھیا بادل
جھک کے پربت کو پیار کرتے ہیں
دل میں ناکام حسرتیں لے کر
ہم تیرا انتظار کرتے ہیں
ان بہاروں کے سائے میں آ جا
پھر محبت جواں رہے نہ رہے
زندگی تیرے نامرادوں پر
کل تلک مہرباں رہے نہ رہے
روز کی طرح آج بھی تارے
صبح کی گرد میں نہ کھو جائیں
آ تیرے غم میں جاگتی آنکھیں
کم سے کم ایک رات سو جائیں
