گزرے برسوں کو یاد کر کے
آج جی بھر کے ہوں رویا
یاد ہے وہ کچی دیواریں
وہ کچے راستے
نہ گلزار رہا نہ باغباں ٹھہرے
وہ ٹھنڈی چھاؤں اور وہ شاخ نبات
وہ درخت جلا کر کر دیے راکھ
سڑک بھی پکی ہو گئی اور
پتھر بن گئے
احباب اجنبی خاک
ایک دہائی ہم پہ ہے یوں گزری
