حقیقت میں یہی تو قوم کی بنیاد ہوتے ہیں
سُنیں رُوداد ہم جب بھی کسی کی کامیابی کی
ہر اِک رُوداد میں یہ مرکزِ رُوداد ہوتے ہیں
یہی رکھتے ہیں شہرِ علم کی ہر راہ کو روشن
ہمیں منزل پہ پہنچا کر یہ کتنا شاد ہوتے ہیں
بَرَستے ہیں یہ ساوَن کی طرح پیاسی زمینوں پر
انہی کے فیض سے اُجڑے چمن آباد ہوتے ہیں
یہ پستی کو بلندی بخشتے ہیں اپنے کاندھوں کی
انہی کی کھوج سے سب ناموَر ایجاد ہوتے ہیں
جو کرتے ہیں ادَب اُستاد کا پاتے ہیں وہ رِفعَت
جو اِن کے بے ادَب ہوتے ہیں وہ برباد ہوتے ہیں
اگر رُوحانیّت سے باہمی رِشتہ جُڑے واصف
تو پھر شاگرد بھی اُستاد کی اولاد ہوتے ہیں
ہو جاے گی تیری مشکل آسان پڑھا کر
پڑھنے کے لئے اگر تجھے کچھ نہ ملے تو
چہروں پے لکھے درد کے عنوان پڑھا کر
لاریب ، تیری روح کو تسکین ملے گی
تو کرب کے لمحات میں قرآن پڑھا کر
آ جاے گا تجھے اقبال جینے کا قرینہ
تو سرورِ قونین کے فرمان پڑھا کر

She's modest, wise, honest, And brave,
She'll cheer you up when you just need a break
Even when you have a bad day,
She'll pick you up and slap your face,
Remind you of all the good things ahead,
That your life is perfect in every aspect
Her happiness is contagious,

No matter how much I struggled within,
She taught me to keep on going,
That life will always be this way,

شکایت ہے مجھے یا رب خداوندان مکتب سے
سبق شاہیں بچوں کو دے رہے ہیں خاک بازی کا
بہت مدت کے نخچیروں کا انداز نگہ بدلا
کہ میں نے فاش کر ڈالا طریقہ شاہبازی کا
قلندر جز دو حرف لا الٰہ کچھ بھی نہیں رکھتا
فقیہ شہر قاروں ہے لغت ہائے حجازی کا
حدیث بادہ و مینا و جام آتی نہیں مجھ کو
نہ کر خاراشگافوں سے تقاضا شیشہ سازی کا
کہاں سے تو نے اے اقبالؔ سیکھی ہے یہ درویشی
کہ چرچا پادشاہوں میں ہے تیری بے نیازی کا
میرے استاد میرے مربی میرے مرشد دل پر ھےرقم نام تیرا
اندھیرے سے روشنی تک لانے کے لیے
دل میں جزبہ شوق بیدار کرنے کا کام تیرا
بچوں کو امتحان میں کامیابی دلانے کے لیے
دن رات اپنا وقت دے کر محنت کرانےکا کام تیرا
مستقبل میں بچوں کی زندگی سنوارنے کے لیے
زندگی میں حق و انصاف کا بول بالا کرنے کا کلام تیرا
طالب علموں میں اپنے دین و وطن کی محبت جگانے کیلئے
اپنے مشاھیر قائدو اقبال کے فرمودات کی تشریح کا نظام تیرا
وعدوں کو ایفا کرنا ادبی سرگرمیوں کےلیے وقت دینا
اپنے شاگردوں کو شبینہ محنت کی تلقین کا پیغام تیرا
خدا آپکی لحد کو جنت الفردوس کے باغات میں تبدیل کرے
صداقت عدالت اور شجاعت کا سبق پڑھانے کا پیام تیرا
یوں جو فیل کرنا تھا پہلے ہی بتا دیتے
ہم ساری کتابوں کو ردی میں سجا دیتے
کوشش تو بہت کی تھی نا کام ہوئے پھر بھی
ہاں ہاس تو ہو جاتے جو نقل کرا دیتے
پرچے جو ملے ہم کو سب خالی دئیے ہم نے
اے کاش صفائی کے نمبر ہی دلا دیتے

یوںض جو فیل ہونا تھا پہلے ہی بتا دیتے
ابا سے کیا ہوتا ٹھیلا ہی لگا دیتے
کوشش تو بہت کی تھی ناکام ہوئے پھر بھی
ہاں پاس تو کر دیتے اگر عقل لڑادیتے
پرچے جو ملے تم کو سب خالی دئیے تم نے
اے کاش سیاہی کے دھبے ہی لگا دیتے
