Were the last words
To escape young Wali Muhammad’s lips,
Before the vengeful bird
Rained fire from the sky,
Hurling this dreadful enemy combatant
Away from his classmates
And from himself
Limb by limb;
“Infinite Justice”
Cried the Almighty Beast
Six thousand miles away.
