دل کی بگڑی ہوئی تصویر پہ رونا آیا
عشق کی قید میں اب تک تو امیدوں پہ جئے
مٹ گئی آس تو زنجیر پہ رونا آیا
کیا حسیں خواب محبت نے دکھایا تھا ہمیں
کھل گئی آنکھ تو تعبیر پہ رونا آیا
پہلے قاصد کی نظر دیکھ کے دل سہم گیا
پھر تری سرخئ تحریر پہ رونا آیا
دل گنوا کر بھی محبت کے مزے مل نہ سکے
اپنی کھوئی ہوئی تقدیر پہ رونا آیا
کتنے مسرور تھے جینے کی دعاؤں پہ شکیلؔ
