Adeem Hashmi Poetry - Adeem Hashmi was the prominent poet of his era. He was not only a poet but also a script writer. He was born in Feroz Pur, India on 1st August 1946.He was known as modern Urdu poet with remarkable understanding and the sense to realize the need of the time and age around him. He started his journey of writing poetry in Lahore.

Due to his skills and sense of understanding the demand of the time he rose to instant fame by his poems ‘Kat He Gae Judai Bhi’ and ‘Fasale Aise Bhi Honge’ in the community of poets in late 60s.

He wrote many books named Tarkash, Mukaalima, Chehra Tumhara Yaad Rehta Hai, Faasle Aise Bhi Hongy. He wrote his last book named ‘Bohat Nazdeek Aate Jaa Rahe Ho’in a Hospital as he stayed ill for a long time and died in 5th November 2001.

He has written dramas as well, His most popular drama was ‘Aagosh’.
