تری جبیں سے نکلتا ہوا سویرا تھا
پہنچ سکا نہ میں بر وقت اپنی منزل پر
کہ راستے میں مجھے رہبروں نے گھیرا تھا
تری نگاہ نے تھوڑی سی روشنی کر دی
وگرنہ عرصۂ کونین میں اندھیرا تھا
یہ کائنات اور اتنی شراب آلودہ
کسی نے اپنا خمار نظر بکھیرا تھا
ستارے کرتے ہیں اب اس گلی کے گرد طواف
جہاں عدمؔ مرے محبوب کا بسیرا تھا
