کچھ مختلف نہی , میرا بھی انداز بیان
بس اب کے لکھتے ہوے جھانکا ہے گریباں
تم نے رکھی ہونگی کوئی الفت کی حد
اپنے لیے تو کم ہے یہ سارا جہاں
سکندر عاظم نہ رہے , تو ہم کون ہیں
کل نہی , آج ہیں , نہ رکھو کوئ گماں
صدیوں سے جن کے عقب , چلنا تھا ہمیں
کچھ قدم چلے , پھر خود مٹاتے گے نشاں
کچھ ایسی بات نہ کہ دے , انتباہ شاہ جی
آنکھیں قدم چومیں, کہے کچھ اور زباں
