خود سے خود کو منہا کر کے دیکھوں گا
وہ شعلہ ہے یا چشمہ کچھ بھید کھلے
پتھر دل میں رستہ کر کے دیکھوں گا
کب بچھڑا تھا کون گھڑی تھی یاد نہیں
لمحہ لمحہ یکجا کر کے دیکھوں گا
وعدہ کر کے لوگ بھلا کیوں دیتے ہیں
اب کے میں بھی ایسا کر کے دیکھوں گا
کتنا سچا ہے وہ میری چاہت میں
