بدن میں جیسے لہو تازیانہ ہو گیا ہے
اسے گلے سے لگائے زمانہ ہو گیا ہے
چمک رہا ہے افق تک غبار تیرہ شبی
کوئی چراغ سفر پر روانہ ہو گیا ہے
ہمیں تو خیر بکھرنا ہی تھا کبھی نہ کبھی
ہوائے تازہ کا جھونکا بہانہ ہو گیا ہے
غرض کہ پوچھتے کیا ہو مآل سوختگاں
تمام جلنا جلانا فسانہ ہو گیا ہے
فضائے شوق میں اس کی بساط ہی کیا تھی
پرند اپنے پروں کا نشانہ ہو گیا ہے
کسی نے دیکھے ہیں پت جھڑ میں پھول کھلتے ہوئے
دل اپنی خوش نظری میں دوانہ ہو گیا ہے
