بڑے غضب کا ہے یارو بڑے عذاب کا زخم
اگر شباب ہی ٹھہرا مرے شباب کا زخم
ذرا سی بات تھی کچھ آسماں نہ پھٹ پڑتا
مگر ہرا ہے ابھی تک ترے جواب کا زخم
زمیں کی کوکھ ہی زخمی نہیں اندھیروں سے
ہے آسماں کے بھی سینے پہ آفتاب کا زخم
میں سنگسار جو ہوتا تو پھر بھی خوش رہتا
کھٹک رہا ہے مگر دل میں اک گلاب کا زخم
اسی کی چارہ گری میں گزر گئی اسرارؔ
تمام عمر کو کافی تھا اک شباب کا زخم
