تری نگاہ پشیماں کو کیسے دیکھوں گا
کبھی جو تجھ سے ملاقات ہو گئی پیارے
نہ تیری یاد نہ دنیا کا غم نہ اپنا خیال
عجیب صورت حالات ہو گئی پیارے
اداس اداس ہیں شمعیں بجھے بجھے ساغر
یہ کیسی شام خرابات ہو گئی پیارے
وفا کا نام نہ لے گا کوئی زمانے میں
ہم اہل دل کو اگر مات ہو گئی پیارے
تمہیں تو ناز بہت دوستوں پہ تھا جالبؔ
