درد بڑھتا ہی رہے ایسی دوا دے جاؤ
کچھ نہ کچھ میری وفاؤں کا صلا دے جاؤ
یوں نہ جاؤ کہ میں رو بھی نہ سکوں فرقت میں
میری راتوں کو ستاروں کی ضیا دے جاؤ
ایک بار آؤ کبھی اتنے اچانک پن سے
نا امیدی کو تحیر کی سزا دے جاؤ
دشمنی کا کوئی پیرایۂ نادر ڈھونڈو
جب بھی آؤ مجھے جینے کی دعا دے جاؤ
وہی اخلاص و مروت کی پرانی تہمت
دوستو کوئی تو الزام نیا دے جاؤ
کوئی صحرا بھی اگر راہ میں آئے انورؔ
دل یہ کہتا ہے کہ اک بار صدا دے جاؤ
