ڈبونے والوں کو شرمندہ کر چکا ہوں گا
میں ڈوب کر ہی سہی پار اتر چکا ہوں گا
پہنچ تو جاؤں گا آب حیات تک لیکن
زباں بھگونے سے پہلے ہی مر چکا گا
سنائی جائے گی جب تک مجھے سزائے سخن
سکوت وقت میں آواز بھر چکا ہوں گا
مثال ریگ ہوں میں ساعتوں کی مٹھی میں
وہ جب تک آئے گا سارا بکھر چکا ہوں گا
زمانہ آئے گا اس وقت خیر مقدم کو
جب اس جہاں سے مظفرؔ گزر چکا ہوں گا
