مجھ کو تسلیم تری ساری ذہانت لیکن
مجھ سے جاہل کو کبھی بھی نہ سمجھ پائے گی
پوچھ لے مجھ سے حقیقت تو وگرنہ اپنے
آنکھ کے تل کو کبھی بھی نہ سمجھ پائے گی
بن محبت کے تو ہنستی ہوئی ان آنکھوں کی
بھیگی جھلمل کو کبھی بھی نہ سمجھ پائے گی
زندگی خود بھی تجھے مرنا پڑے گا ورنہ
میرے قاتل کو کبھی بھی نہ سمجھ پائے گی
