یہاں تو زخم کے پہرے بٹھائے تھے ہم نے
شمیم زلف یہاں کیسے باریاب ہوئی
ہمارے نام پہ گر انگلیاں اٹھیں تو کیا
تمہاری مدح و ستائش تو بے حساب ہوئی
ہزار پرسش غم کی مگر نہ اشک بہے
