اس کے چہرے کی چمک کے سامنے سادہ لگا
آسماں پہ چاند پورا تھا مگر آدھا لگا
جس گھڑی آیا پلٹ کر اک مرا بچھڑا ہوا
عام سے کپڑوں میں تھا وہ پھر بھی شہزادہ لگا
ہر گھڑی تیار ہے دل جان دینے کے لیے
اس نے پوچھا بھی نہیں یہ پھر بھی آمادہ لگا
کارواں ہے یا سراب زندگی ہے کیا ہے یہ
ایک منزل کا نشاں اک اور ہی جادہ لگا
روشنی ایسی عجب تھی رنگ بھومی کی نسیمؔ
ہو گئے کردار مدغم کرشن بھی رادھا لگا
