مجھ کو تجربوں نے ہی باپ بن کے پالا ہے
سوچتا ہوں کیا لکھوں ولدیت کے خانے میں
میرا ساتھ دیتی ہے میرے ساتھ رہتی ہے
میں نے لکھا تنہائی زوجیت کے خانے میں
دوستوں سے جا کر جب مشورہ کیا تو پھر
میں نے کچھ نہیں لکھا حیثیت کے خانے میں
امتحاں محبت کا پاس کر لیا میں نے
اب یہی میں لکھوں گا اہلیت کے خانے میں
جب سے آپ میرے ہیں فخر سے میں لکھتا ہوں
