جب تک نہیں ہوتے آپ کے دانت کٹھے
اسی طرح رہیں گے ہم آپ کے خلاف ڈٹے
میں نے دی تھی امیر شہر کے خلاف گواہی
پھر کیا ہوا کہ آنے لگے ہر طرف سے وٹے
مہنگائی کی طرح پھیلی ہے جیب کتروں کی وبا
جس سڑک پہ دیکھو نظر آتے ہیں جیب کٹے
غریبوں کی ہنڈیا میں وہی دال اور ساگ
امیروں کی قسمت میں کھانے چٹ پٹے
اگرچہ صورت آپ کی لگتی نہیں بھکاریوں جیسی
مگر کپڑے کیوں آپ کے اس طرح ہیں پٹھے
اگر چاہتے ہیں ہم برائیوں کا جڑ سے خاتمہ
تو نکلنا پڑے گا ہم سب کو گھر سے اکٹھے
بھلائی کی توقع کریں تو کس سے کریں عثمان
ایک سیر ہے تو دوسرا سوا سیر امریکہ یا اسکے پٹھے
