غم کو بھی ساتھ لگا لگائی ہے
منتظر دیر سے تھے تم میرے
اب جو تشریف صبا لائی ہے
نگہت زلف غبار رہ دوست
آخر اس کوچہ سے کیا لائی ہے
موت بھی روٹھ گئی تھی مجھ سے
یہ شب ہجر منا لائی ہے
مجھ کو لے جا کے مری آنکھ وہاں
اک تماشا سا دکھا لائی ہے
آہ کو سوئے اثر بھیجا تھا
واں سے کیا جانئے کیا لائی ہے
شبلیٔ زار سے کہہ دے کوئی
مژدۂ وصل صبا لائی ہے
